Looks like another PFR is murdered in Florida.

Since Wisconsin picked up another liberal on the supreme court, I wonder if some lawyers should be thinking about doing another lower court challenge to residency ordinances & lifetime GPS laws? 🤔Maybe reword it differently than the last lawsuits..

28 U.S. Code § 455
A judge must disqualify themselves in any proceeding where their impartiality might reasonably be questioned.

Not “if they feel like it.
”Not “if it’s obvious.”

If it can reasonably be questioned—they should not be on that case.

Bias doesn’t have to be proven beyond doubt.
It just has to be reasonable.

I think SORNA is a real enemy. SORNA is very cruel. SORNA is just trying to make more harsher laws to make life more and more miserable for us current and former registrants. SORNA wants to put people who got off the registry back on the registry. I truly believe that after we have been rehabilitated and we are living the way we are supposed to live, we should be kept off the registry. I take care of myself. I routinely do things to keep me away from the mentality of harming other people.

From Texas, a teacher is in TWO relationships with male minors (under 17) pleaded guilty to charges related to them, even though they were not at her school. Sentencing is Jun 26 where a $1,000 fine and probation is recommended. The more serious charges of educator-student improper relationship were dropped by the DA. Would this same thing happen to a male teacher in this same situation in Texas? You cannot make this stuff up. Maybe the judge needs to be lobbied for a harsher sentence?

Rep. Eric Swalwell has been accused of sexual harassment and misconduct. Once again someone in authority abused their power even though both allegations happened in 2019 and in 2024. We all know if it was an average John Rep. Swalwell would be calling them a pervert or whatnot.

I need to take an inside the White House tour and get within 200 feet of the oval office so I can obtain my presidential pardon…but only if the pardon will keep me from having to register in any state no matter how long I visit.

“Federal Court Strikes Down 158-Year-Old Home Distilling Ban”
“Writing for a three-judge panel in McNutt v. U.S. Department of Justice, Judge Edith Hollan Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit found that the ban actually reduced tax revenue by preventing distilling in the first place, the opposite of its stated intent.”

Just like SORNA/SORA does the opposite of its stated intent (public safety), while the government promotes its “frightening and high” defamatory big SCOTUS lie, to rob people of their constitutional protections and incite horrific crimes on the public!

Let’s see…

A female math teacher in Broward County, FLA is arrested and charged for student interactions that weren’t mathematically related and held w/o bail until trial on sex abuse charges

A very famous female singer is accused (again) of sex assault years ago

A 16 year old stepbrother is accused and being federally charged as an adult of murder and sex abuse of his older adult stepsister on a cruise

And that is just for a Monday as of this writing…

Without Precedent, pg 286, Power chapter

Over two decades of Robert’s rulings and criminal cases never…has Robert’s acted with such seeming concern for the rights of the accused or convicted.

This is why PFRs are going to have a hard time getting anything past him while he’s still in the Chief Justice seat wearing a robe.

If anyone who visits the forum here and is interested in understanding our SCOTUS Chief Justice, I’d recommend reading Without Precedent by Lisa Graves. It is gives a perspective of the man that can be seen as embarrassing and ashamed as an American citizen given the details therein the book. He is not wont to recuse himself from a PFR case should it actually reach SCOTUS via petition to be considered and then actually be approved to be heard as given by historical case actions with himself and those on his bench. As @MD Registrant noted, maybe it is time he is impeached, but that takes two-steps by the House first and then Senate second where the D’s have the majority in the House but 2/3 majority in the Senate implement the articles filed.

The court is bought and paid for currently and is set up so where the individual is not even on their radar of considerations, but only the corporate world is, sadly. It is decades in the making and the nation is reaping the outcome of it, whether they like it or not and within the rules or not. The Catholic perspective noted previously in the forum is called out as well is the unethical behaviors of those in robes.

As noted previously in this GC monthly column:

Give it a read if you can stomach it.

I’m stuck here, if I leave California I’ll be a person forced to register again. that means I wasn’t really ever removed from the registry, I guess you can say I’m just non listed. The registry is literally a living organism it moves around and hunts people and consumes lives, it’s like an octopus with many tentacle when one releases you another one sits and waits to grab you.
This is a really big deal trapping people in California, no one want’s to travel around the USA and risk being sent to prison in some far way state they know nothing about.

I’ve just found a post by someone who appears to be doling out vigilante justice on SOs in my area. The registry truly makes people vulnerable and this guy seems to be stoking fear and disgust by posting videos of his personal sting operations. Is there any recourse?

Has anyone with a non felony applied for a gun permit in California? As I understand it a misdemeanor non violent offense is allowed.

I saw the action alert survey question in the Fox news website. … I voted “Yes.” Absolutely. All of the people who got that stigma can learn to control their behavior when the individual wants the therapy in his heart for himself. We just have to say, “I want to control my behavior and be respectful, compassionate, considerate, courteous, and kindhearted to all of my neighbors.” Then we will succeed.

🏠 Pasadena, CA 🏡. Hi all! Is anyone living in Pasadena, California or wanting to move to Pasadena, California? Just wondering what people think of it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is it against the law for a government to create a label for a certain group of members of the public, to lie about this group in a way that has proven to incite violence and death to this group and those close to them?

Yes, it is fundamentally against international law for a government to engage in state-sponsored campaigns that use labels and lies to incite violence against a group. Welcome to the United Nations

When a government creates a specific “label” for a group and spreads lies about them that lead to violence or death, it crosses the line from political speech into incitement, which is a serious violation of global human rights standards.
1. Violations of International Law
Governments are bound by several international treaties that specifically prohibit this behavior:

  • ICCPR (Article 20): The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights requires all states to prohibit “any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence”.
  • Genocide Convention: Direct and public incitement to commit genocide—which often begins with “othering” and dehumanizing labels—is a crime under international law, even if no genocide actually occurs.
  • Rome Statute: The International Criminal Court (ICC) can prosecute leaders for Crimes Against Humanity if they oversee a widespread or systematic attack against a civilian population, including through state-sponsored persecution and incitement. UNHCR – The UN Refugee Agency

2. The “Labels and Lies” Strategy (Disinformation)
Modern international standards, such as the UN’s Rabat Plan of Action, look at six factors to determine if a government’s “labeling and lying” has become illegal incitement: International IDEA

  1. Context: Is there a history of violence or a tense political climate?
  2. Speaker: Does the speaker have a high-level government position or authority?
  3. Intent: Was the “label” created specifically to cause harm?
  4. Content: Is the speech dehumanizing or advocating for violence?
  5. Extent: How far-reaching was the campaign (e.g., state media)?
  6. Likelihood: Is it actually leading to violence and death?

3. Domestic Law (United States)
In the U.S., the government is generally prohibited by the First Amendment from restricting private speech, but the government itself is not above the law if its actions lead to harm:

  • Incitement: If a government official’s speech is intended to and likely to produce “imminent lawless action,” it is not protected.
  • Equal Protection: The 14th Amendment prohibits the government from targeting specific groups for “unequal” treatment, which includes state-sanctioned harassment or campaigns that put their lives at risk.
  • Civil Rights Violations: Under 18 U.S.C. § 241 and 242, it is a federal crime for anyone acting “under color of law” (a government official) to conspire to deprive a person of their constitutional rights, including the right to life.

Summary

While a government has the power to speak, it does not have the legal right to dehumanize and incite its own citizens.

When labels and lies result in proven violence and death, these actions can be prosecuted as war crimes, crimes against humanity, or civil rights violations, depending on the jurisdiction. Welcome to the United Nations

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida said…

“But let me say this plainly: we should be very careful about the precedent we are setting in this country, we do not punish people before due process is complete,” she said. “We do not allow allegations alone to override the will of the people. That is a dangerous patch, and one that should concern every American, regardless of party.”

Uh, ok.
